Harris campaign announces $40 million raised since her convention speech

The Harris campaign also stated on Sunday that both the campaign and its supporters raised $40 million in the aftermath of Harris’ speech at the DNC on Thursday.

For hours at the Democratic National Convention, one speaker after another called on voters to do something for Harris’ victory campaign. 
 
“We can’t afford to let mornings get to work or feel sleepy, start to get that feeling coming back, then say, you know what I am just going to sleep,” stated Michelle Obama, the former first lady on s Tuesday night. 
 
“I’m asking you to join in committing your whole heart to this cause — that is where mine will be,” Biden said during the first night of the convention.
