Abbey Clancy cringes over 'outrageous and ridiculous' lifestyle

Abbey Clancy says she is embarrassed when regaling her outrageous and ridiculous actions while hubby was raking in his fortunes as a football star.

The 38-year-old model is married to former England player Peter Crouch, and she confessed that they made some silly decisions when they had lots of money.

She told The Times newspaper: It used to involve getting helicopters to food tastings.” As you are shooting that football scene, and acting it out, it looks a little grand and silly or rather ridiculous.

"Your decisions are nutty."

Abbey went on record to say that their highly flamboyant wedding in 2011 was ‘OTT’, that she opted for a less glitzy affair on their vow renewal in 2022.

She added: I wanted to have a very lavish wedding so we did have a big fat wedding. We entered the room to Nicki Minaj. It was a small child singing ‘You Are So Beautiful’ in the church or stoning a harp at the same time. I don’t even know when I made that decision because the experience was so bizarre to me.

"I had about five dresses. It was OTT. That’s why our renewal of vows was so minimalist.”

Still, they are rich, Abbey told everyone that her husband isn’t very good at giving gifts and she got a charging cable as a gift.

She explained: There is a time Pete gave me a 2m charger cable as a gift. He likes a practical present.

They’ve been together 20 years and he still does not know her shoe size. Last year, he took me shopping and bought me size 9 trainers. I said, ‘I know my feet are big, Pete, but they’re not that big’."

It comes after Abbey claimed she paid thousands for braces ‘and she was left furious because the services made her teeth look like ‘comedian legend Ken Dodd”.

During an appearance on ‘The Therapy Crouch’ podcast, Abbey explained: In other words they went from ‘two millimeters out there’ to ‘four millimeters out there.’

I have ever found myself with a brace on for six months and the result of it being goofy teeth plus a thinning of the palate which I think is absurd.

The cross bite is still there. In fact, it’s got worse. So I was like to the dentist ‘What the hell is going on here?’ “I am that comedian with all the teeth. The Scouse one. With the feather duster. Ken Dodd.”

But Abbey’s dentist has advised her that this can only be caused by a temporary problem and will disappear soon. She added: He told me as a dentist, ‘The teeth move in a certain way. And then after that, they come back in’.”
