Pregnant Lea Michele Reveals Multiple Miscarriages in Painful Journey to Conceive Second Child

When a young Hollywood beauty Lea Michele was first planning pregnancy and struggling to get pregnant, she made it quite public. 
 
The actress who starred in Funny Girl and is married to Zandy Reich with whom she had a son, Ever, at the age of 30 revealed in a conversation with Katherine Schwarzenegger Pratt about her podcast BDA Baby that She had two back to back very early miscarriages. 

“I never met a miscarriage before,” said Michele. “The first time I was like, ‘That was weird. ’ Then when it happened again immediately again, something was not right,” The veteran performer went on to say that she and her husband decided to ‘step away’ from the act while she performed on Broadway. 
 
‘It was not until somewhat latter that I carried out another’, she said. “I was working at the time, so the onset of fertility and everything that we were going through was very painful. ” It forced Michele to “take a closer look” at the obstacles and gain an endometriosis diagnosis. It was not the first big health announcement as Michele previously shared that she has PCOS, which was detected when she was experiencing difficulties to become pregnant with the first child. 
 
After getting the diagnosis of endometriosis, Michele was given “so many drugs and medications” and she was administered with “one thousand shots. ” Pregnancy came after taking the medications. Michele later confirmed in May that she and Reich were expecting a girl. 
 
In an interview with Motherly last year, she said, “At the end of the day I’m super great full that with both my pregnancies I would say overall I’m so great full for the energy that I do have and I really do love being pregnant. ” “And I am so thankful and to have the strength especially now given that am in the last days of this pregnancy I can play with my son and even run around with him and all this while I am still dancing. I think it is one of the best things that could ever happen to me. ”
