Noah Grubbs understands 'magnitude' of Notre Dame commitment: 'Nothing will change'
Notre Dame Fighting Irish has been very successful with the current 2025 recruiting cycle having enlisted itself into the top 10 and is has two good 2026 recruits.
One of those, Lake Mary (Florida) four-star quarterback Noah Grubbs, aims to be one of the real anchors of the upcoming class.
The 6-foot-4, 195-pound passer ranked as the No. 8 quarterback in the country committed to the Irish over the summer, and affirmed he will not flip teams.
Indeed, Grubbs emerges skeptical there is something of a misconception in current recruiting on being committed to a particular school.
As for the second message, he said: “Is that not what I said when I said the word ‘committed’?” This sounds good to many, but courage is needed to stand on it and not be distracted by anything. Little can change that because when I made up my mind that Notre Dame was a place I wanted to be, I did not have any doubt in my mind that this is home.
Not surprisingly in light of what Grubbs had said, Grubbs is scheduled to go to only one school in the Fall and that is Notre Dame and that particular game is set for November 9 against Florida State.
Well, that must be music to Notre Dame fans since Grubbs turned down offers from Arkansas, Auburn, Colorado, Florida, Miami, Michigan, Nebraska, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Penn State, Texas A&M and others to play for the Fighting Irish.
And that offer sheet can be derived from the excellent scouting report.
Here's what had to say about Grubbs as a prospect: Here's what had to say about Grubbs as a prospect:
Signal-aligning prospect with a loose arm and imposing physiques as well Hoch finally earned his starting job in the position at the onset of his freshman year and could well leave high school as a four-year signal caller; more of a touch-thrower at the present time than a power-thrower but has the physical ability to turn it up a notch when the situation calls for it,
Notre Dame has some degree of recruiting question marks as far as George County (Mississippi) five-star quarterback Deuce Knight in the class of 2025.
But based on what we’ve seen, Grubbs is definitely the man, the guy, the singular person locked into 2026.
