Lexington Station to Go All In On High School Basketball in November

Welcome to the world of High School sports, Lexington Kentucky is ready to take the LEAP. 
 
Home Team Showcase will air those four high school basketball games that include two girls’ matches and two boys’ matches in the month of November. The games are to be conducted at the GRC Arena in George Rogers Clark High School located in Winchester. 
 
“This high school basketball event live is another avenue where our team can highlight the numerous communities that we have. ” Said Monte Costes the WDKY vice president and general manager. “It’s a natural next step in the development of Home Team sports brand and continues our mandate of delivering significant and locally made programming. ” 
 
“I think everyone at GRC is really looking forward to a fantastic partnership with Fox 56 for the Home Team Showcase in this year. ” GRC Athletic Director Terry Yeast. “I would like to thank Fox 56 for being the wonderful partner they have been and looking forward for this partnership to grow, The teams that will be travelling to Clark County for this showcase will make it a great basket ball day. 
 
The Home Team Showcase will run from 10 a. m to 4 p. m on the scheduled date, Saturday, November 23, 2024. 
 
This event will be opened and led by the St. Louis sports director, Michael Epps with the participation of Jordan Adams a weekend anchor and Colby Wilson a sports reporter. Broadcasters from Kentucky high school sports Joel Bennett and Bobby Baldwin are also included in the showcase partnering with Epps in the games. Besides the action on the court, the showcase will also include live player/coach interviews.
