Harris says Trump 'disrespected sacred ground' during an incident at Arlington National Cemetery

Kamala Harris fulminated against former president Trump and his election campaign on Monday at the Arlington National Cemetery in the new post on X.

Harris said Trump has “disrespected sacred ground, all for a photo op. ”

“If there is one thing that I have learned about the American people it is that when it comes to the defense of our freedom, our veterans, military families, and service members, that they should be respected, not demeaned, and thanked not cursed,” she said.

Of the many things that Harris said, he also urged Trump to “never again stand behind the seal of the President of the United States of America. ”

Her words are following the statement of the U. S. Army that one of Trump’s campaign staff members ‘shoved’ another member aside at the cemetery to force Trump and his campaign to take pictures and record videos of the families of the service members killed in the 2021 U. S. military withdrawal from Afghanistan.

The event happened in Section 60 which is generally closed to the video and photo recording.

In the interview with NBC News on Thursday Trump tried to justify his behavior stating a family wanted to know whether he would like kneeling for a picture at the grave of their beloved one who should not have died.

He said he didn’t ask to take pictures and recording video but http://grafiti-ooi. de/?p=835[W]hen I was there, I did not require a picture. They said, ‘Sir, could we have a picture at the grave while you where there?’

In a post on X while responding to Harris, Trump’s running mate, Ohio Sen. JD Vance, asked, “President trump was there at the invitation of families whose loved ones died because of your incompetence. Why don’t you get off social media and go launch an investigation into their unnecessary deaths?”

And Trump campaign spokesperson Karoline Leavitt took a swipe at Harris in her own post about the episode, accusing the vice president of responsibility for the deaths of the servicemembers in the withdrawal process that occurred under the Biden administration.

Leavitt’s recent posting included, “Kamala’s stupidity was responsible for one of the shocking follies in America’s history and thirteen conscious US soldiers’ death” For this alone, Kamala does not deserve to vote, let alone be elected for the office of the presidency of the United States… Kamala has already exhibited that she would be a lethal choice for Commander In Chief “.

After Harris’ post, Trump shared eight videos to X in which seven families of the killed military members disapprove Harris’ comments about military and enthusiastically support Trump.

Some of the families said they personally invited Trump and several people blamed Biden and Harris for the death of their relatives.

‘It was a heartless, calloused, heinous, vile and disgusting thing to do to those of us who lost our loved ones in this tragic attack,’ Mark Schmitz, whose son Lance Cpl. Jared M. Schmitz died in the August 26 Abbey Gate bombing responded to Harris. Herman Lopez, whose son Cpl. Hunter Lopez died in the attack said the consoled words were ‘hollow and empty’.

“Kamala, we have been treated with the utmost respect, compassion and understanding from President Trump since the Unite States of America attacked us on 26August 2021,” one man, Darin Hoover, the father of Staff Sgt Darin ‘Taylor’ Hoover.
