On Tuesday morning Ross Morales Rocketto who assisted in the creation of White Dudes for Harris, after Joe Biden removed himself from the 2024 Democratic ticket posted on X stating that the @dudes4harris Twitter account had been locked and there was no explanation as to why. This followed a successful opening three hours and twenty minutes Zoom meeting on Monday night which celebrities and politicians used to fundraise for the Vice President Kamala Harris, the believed Democratic candidate.
He wrote on X in a post that included a picture of the suspended page Got @elonmusk scared. In a tweet hours later, he added: “Hilarious that after having a great #WhiteDudesforHarris meeting where men indeed become genuine, emotional, and passionate that @elonmusk banned the page as I received hundreds of slurs and meme images from white nationalist troll accounts many of which are still online.
The particular image used with that X post states ‘4 million + raise 190K attendees 1 scared billionaire’, navigating to Monday night’s fundraising break and the number of individuals who either tuned into the Zoom conference, or watched the YouTube page on which the conference was being streamed live.
It is still to be determined what rules @dudes4harris transgressed, and the email that Mike Nellis, an organizer of White Dudes for Harris, posted to his persons X account during the time the account was suspended states that the suspension was a result of a users report which violated regulations against evasion of suspension.
On Tuesday, The Hollywood Reporter e-mailed X’s press department to know the cause of the suspension and to also react to the narrative, it was done at the instance of Musk. The company’s reply was, “Busy now, please check back later” — the second day in a row THR has received this reply from X.
The suspension was brief and at 12:47 p. m. , the account posted the following message: “WE ARE SO BACK! After a tide of common people complains to @ElonMusk from the #WhiteDudesforHarris community our account was unblocked & we are allowed to post again. Thank you for coming to our aid & continuing this discussion in our stead Let alone more to come. ”
Below, Musk, who bought twitter and took it over to turn it into X in 2022, has required the idea that ideas should circulate freely in twitter and pleaded that it should be “The town square of the internet. ” In 2022 when he took charge of twitter to make it known as X, he banned several journalists and media outlets that report on him.
