Tad Boyle adds two more recruits to Colorado basketball recruiting class

Some of the discussion about players include; — Tad Boyle, apparently.

Colorado hopeful additions to the 2025 roster include Jalin Holland and Josiah Sanders. Both are combo guards with 4-star rating who are on the ascendancy prospectively for the Top 100 in the current recruiting service providers’ standing of 247 Sports.

Holland is from Los Lunas, New Mexico, transferred to an Arizona prep academy for the latter part of his senior year of high school basketball. He has shone in areas such as strength, body control and driving during his appearances before scouts. He is also demonstrated great deal of potential as a shooter and shot maker. The Governor had to compete with other schools like Oklahoma and Texas for and to get his signature.

For Sanders he is a home grown talent from Denver who participated in high school football having been at Colorado Prep. He was central to the Buffs recruiting of guard this recruiting cycle thus establishing a tradition that Boyle recruits the best guard from the state. Sanders hopes to play for the NBA and opted for CU because he feels that this place will suit him best.

If Sanders is handed the ball to drive and create then he is happy. He’s still a work in progress as a shooter — he is an excellent passer, but the program sees someone they can run their offense through. He is also left handed and his rebounding ability isn’t bad for his height, as if Boyle designed him.

Colorado has four commits to the class now and all those recruits are going to be guards. The other two are Ian Inman, a stance 6’4 who can play both as the combo guard and Isaiah Johnson, a 6’1 pure point guard. I think that Sanders and Holland are basic starters; Johnson is a bench guard like Hammond and Inman is a prospect.

This also could give rise to certain queries with the current roster as well, something that, sometimes, is really not good to hear. Hammond and Baskin are planning on leaving and it remains to be seen what positions are best for RJ Smith and Courtney Anderson, Andrew Crawford is also in a sticky position. It would also indicate that Boyle will rely especially on Assane Diop and Bangot Dak as forwards or bring in a big from the transfer portal.
