Sarah Paulson Wants to Star in a Comedy, Maybe ‘Legally Blonde’?
The actress also enjoy a road comedy with Cate Blanchett because no one ever asks them to do that movie genre.
Home on the web, Sarah Paulson is eager to prove herself funny on the silver screen.
Last month while doing BuzzFeed’s “The Puppy Interview,” the star of the American Horror Story was asked about the next movie genre that she would consider taking on.
But, that aim is not limited to merely being invited to star in a film; I want someone to put me in a fuckig comedy. I don’t get put into a comedy, she said it. ‘All I have to do is scream and run from a clown’ You just don’t realize that I am a calm, polite, good-looking and a good-humored fellow.
Paulson also already had an opinion on who she would want as a potential lead in a comedy. Now I will try to guess Cate Blanchett… Actually, I’d want to collaborate with her on a horror film, yes. Further, I like to do a buddy picture with her, a road comedy. Something I haven’t done yet and which I heard nobody has ever asked to Cate Blanchett to provide is the comedy. And she’s really funny, so I’d like to do that,” she said. Again, I would also like to work with Sandra [Sandy, Sandy, OCD driven] Bullock. I’d like to do something like serious with her maybe.”
On comedy, Hold Your Breath star has another film franchise in mind. Paulson was asked later what role she would like to play of her real life partner Holland Taylor and she said the character of Professor Stromwell from Legally Blonde with Reese Witherspoon in 2001.
Perhaps, yes, I would like to be in Legally Blonde, I was like to play that teacher. Iconic,” she said.
That is why Paulson might be able to turn her wishes into reality; she could be like her character in The Bear as there are more films in the Legally Blonde film series in development at the moment. The duo of Mindy Kaling and Dan Goor is working on the script for Legally Blonde 3, which would again feature Witherspoon as Elle Woods. This prime video streaming network is also featuring a prequel series titled Elle from Witherspoon.
