Pennsylvania high school football: Top junior linebacker recruits for the 2024 season
It is eagerly awaited time of the year, the starting of the 2024 Pennsylvania high school football season and the time to look at some of the highest rated recruits of the state. For all the details other squads and graduating classes you will want to come back and check out this series where the emphasis is placed on the best recruits at a few positions for a specific graduating class.
So, without further ado, let us bring you the No. 1 senior recruit for nine positions, starting with the signal callers—quarterbacks, the running backs, the linebackers, the edge rushers, the wideouts, the defensive backs, the tight ends, and the linemen, both on offense and defense.
Next, we went to the top junior recruits, beginning with the quarter backs, the running backs the offensive and the defensive lineman. Now we turn to the second tier of linebacking talent from the Pennsylvania junior class of 2024.
Of the 21 ranked players for the class of 2026 on the 247Sports for PA for the 2026 class, only two linebackers are included Colsen Gatten of Pittsburgh Central and Daiveon Taylor of Aliquippa. The two players are both considered to be a 3-star ‘athlete’ recruit. Gatten is unavailable, on the other hand, Taylor has committed to West Virginia.
