Oregon high school football: 200 players to watch in 2024 (Nos. 60-41)

As we begin our preparations for the Oregon high school football season, here is our annual list of 200 players who we are looking forward to watching play in 2024. Here, at last, is Part 8 of that list:
One fact becomes clear when making a list such as this: There are many more<|reserved_special_token_260|>Y fun high school players to watch in Oregon this year. For every one of the 200 players outlined below, there are other players who have similarly impressive numbers – try forming your own list of 200 after viewing our 200.
Please be reminded that this is not a list of the 200 most popular players, or even the 200 best players in the coming season, but rather, any 200 players that were vivid in my mind when writing this list.

60. Lakeridge, junior RB/DE Noah Tishendorf
Tishendorf introduced himself as a force to be reckoned with among the class of 2026 last year, recording 20 tackles for loss and 9 sacks, among the 56 tackles he made, He got an honorable mention of 6A all-state last season. Pacers coach Spencer Phillips shifted him to running back towards the end of the season thus Tishendorf gained 135 yards and scored three touchdowns on 31 attempted carries. He boasts of scholarships from Oregon State University, Washington State University and the University of Nevada Las Vegas.
59. RB/LB Ceville Pasi, Churchill, senior
He hurried the quarterback 5½ times and ranked among the state leaders last season in rushing 263 times for 1,289 yards and 19 TDs while making all-state honorable mention.
58. LB Marco Larsen, Summit, senior
Larsen, a second-team 5A all-stater, was one of the Storm’s defensive leaders last season, and she recorded 77 tackles — only behind graduated all-state safety Sam Stephens on the team.
57. Wide Receiver/Liner/Back/Kicker/Punter Rocco Graziano Sheldon 12
Graziano can be best described as a man of many functions when it comes to the Irish. He caught 20 passes for 270 yards as junior year tight end or as a backup linebacker made seven tackles but the kicker might be his biggest asset as he earned second-team 6A all-state as kicker and punter. About his kicking he converted 20 of 21 PATs, and 5 of 6 in field goals to a longest of 46 yards.
56. DE Zachary Davis is this year’s senior at Central Catholic.
Davis looks the part of an outside linebacker in college (he has committed to Georgia Tech and Florida A&M but is still in high school), and the all-Mt. A second team All-Hood Conference selection, he has the ability of a disruptor for the Rams with 33 total tackles eight of which were for losses and three sittings in the prior year.
55. QB Max Nowlin of Scappoose playing in his final year
Two years ago Nowlin fought for the start position under the direct control of the coach. He is now the unquestioned field general of Scappoose’s aerial assault: the senior quarterback passed for 2,937 yards and 26 touchdowns with only 11 interceptions last season and led the Indians to the Class 4A semifinals. He made an all-state honorable mention.
54. WR Christian Guerrero, Marist Catholic, 12
Marist Catholic’s No. 3 receiver alongside first-team 4A all-state seniors Brady Bidwell and Kaden Erlenbush last season was Guerrero and for the Spartans who were state finalist, Guerrero caught 45 passes for 744 yards and nine touchdowns for which he earned his second-team membership. He is easily one of 4A’s top kickers with distance of 40 plus yards on his field goals.
53. DL Antonio Aguilar, Milwaukie, senior
Aguilar has been a force to reckon with at the front line of the Mustangs for three seasons. As a junior, he had 12 of the 66 total tackles (18 of which were for losses) to be a 4A co-leader in sacks as he earned second-team all-state honors.
52. Wide receiver/linebacker Kale Hubert, Stayton, 12
Hubert, an all-state second-team honorable mention at linebacker last season, led the Eagles with 84 tackles and was eighth in the state, despite missing two games to injury; Hubert was also honorable mention at tight end, where he had eight catches for 92 yards, but was mainly a blocking threat.
51. WR/DB Jordan Westerholm, Seaside, Senior
He was second-team 4A all-state pick in the secondary last season, and while Westerholm was not a major part of the Seagulls’ offense, he did get his chances to carry the ball both on the ground and through the air in the regular season and playoffs.
50. LB Jack Brauckmiller, Canby, sophomore
Brauckmiller is one of the state’s most promising class of 2027 prospects – the Rebel gained an offer for football at UNLV and takes the No. 7 spot based on Prep Baseball Report’s list of sophomore recruits. He had 22 tackles and a team-high four interceptions as a freshman and received all-Northwest Oregon Conference honorable mention. He dislocated his clavicle during baseball and should be good to go for the Cougars’ Week 0 game at West Albany.
49. DL Tau Takau, senior, Roosevelt
Takau Played as a junior at PIL completing 18 tackles for the loss in total and 56 tackles and 6 sacks in addition to being an honorable mention all-state while his team the Roughriders played in the state championship bracket.
48. OL/DL Isaac Jordan, Lebanon, senior
Jordan had 16 TFL and eight sacks for 5A last year and earned honorable mention all-state on both offense and defense.
47. QB Avirey Durdahl was from Nelson his senior.
Durdahl has played in all but the first four games of his freshman year for the Hawks but he was a 6A all-state honorable mention last year where he ranked among the state leaders in passing yards (1,863 on 128 of 217), and touchdowns (16, with four interceptions).
46. Wide Receiver/Dual Threat Back, D’Marieon Gates, Central Catholic, Senior
Gates was one of several high profile transfers to move to the Rams last year from Jefferson and aided the team in winning the 6A state title. He was a second-team all-Mt. He was also a Hood Conference pick on offense: receiving, 19 catches for 345 yards and six touchdowns; kick-off returns; and as a punter-tackler, averaging 24 yards for returns while registering 42 tackles (5¼ for loss), 3 break-ups and one interception.
45. Bruce “OL Suliasi Laulaupea’alu, Sherwood, senior
At 6-2, 350 pounds, he is a force in the wing-T offense of the Bowmen and earned all-state honorable mention last year as a 6A semifinalist.
44. Four captains are selected from the team; DE Phoenix from Orion DiCosmo, CB from Central Catholic, and senior.
DiCosmo did not have a huge junior year with the Rams, who won the 6A state championship, registering 30 tackles, two tackles for loss, and one interception at linebacker, but he has boiled on the recruiting site during the offseason and showing off the athletic ability that has propelled him to the No. 12 prospect in 247Sports Texas. He has had offers from leading schools such as Dartmouth and Vanderbilt as well as other schools.
43. FB/LB Treyson Eddleman 5-11, 195, Lakeridge, Sr.
Eddleman was in the middle of a Sherwood defense that achieved eight shutouts in the last season, seven in a row in particular, with 38 tackles, 6 of which were for loss, 2½ sacks, one interception and four forced fumbles. During his sophomore season, he earned 6A all-state honorable mention prior to transferring to Lakeridge during the offseason. Playing as a wing-T fullback for the Bowmen, he also managed 11 touchdowns.
42. Brash Henderson is a senior partner of the firm’s Office Leasing and Dispute Resolution/Litigation and Dispute Resolution groups for OL/DL/Silverton.
Henderson was a first-team 5A all-state offensive lineman last year playing for the Foxes, who had more than 3,000 total yards, and got to the state semis this year with the help of a strong front five. On the field, he was an honorable mention all-Mid-Willamette Conference defensive lineman (41 tackles, one sack), and in the winter for wrestling he finished the season undefeated and became the 285-pound state champion.
41. RB/LB Sam Vyhlidal, Mountainside, junior
Vyhlidal lettered in football early in his year and then became a standout last year for the Mavericks, making both all-Metro League first-team offense and defense. He rushed for 415 yards on 57 attempt and as a tackler, he made 72 tackles and had two sacks.
