Oprah Winfrey Sets Graceland CBS Special With Riley Keough Interview

Oprah Winfrey is on tear with the,primerime special. 
 
Only a few days after her show on ABC that explore artificial intelligence with heads of the technological world, the media mogul is ready to set her TV date at CBS. An Oprah Special: Elvis, Lisa Marie & Riley Is a show that aired recently after Winfrey visited the Graceland Mansion of Elvis Presley and which featured an interview with Presley’s Granddaughter Riley Keough. 
 
But nearly two years after the shocking death of her mother, Lisa Marie Presley at 54 years old, Keough’s sit down is with the queen of sit-downs. Before she died, the only child of the Elvis recorded dozens of hours from her colorful life for a memoir. Altogether, collaborating with those records, Keough wrote the book From Here to the Great Unknown with another author. It comes out October the 8th from Random House in the same day that Winfrey’s special is aired. 
 
Winfrey who is still the CEO of her own cable network owned by WBD still creates and features on the programming and across broadcast or streaming but CBS has housed some of the most influential interviewees of Winfrey’s post- Oprah show era. Its most-watched moments include the barnburner of 2021 — Oprah with Meghan and Harry, watched live by 18 million people alone on the night of its broadcast, and an additional 49 according to CBS. Such performances were hence recorded in the first two days of release with a total of 1 million people worldwide being affected. 
 
While Keough has since filled shows like Amazon’s Daisy Jones and the Six adaption and Hulu’s Under the Bridge over the past two years, the Emmy-nominated actress has very little to say about her mother’s death due to surgery complications from bariatric surgery. A portion of Keough’s conversation with Winfrey about her life with Lisa Marie also entails never before seen family photos, videos and selected audio recordings of the Presley heir. 
 
It is not clear if Keough discussed Graceland’s near-foreclosure sale which was halted in May due to a lawsuit, or her 2023 settlement with the grandmother Priscilla Presley after Keough earned sole control over Lisa Marie’s estate. 
 
The Presleys – Elvis, Lisa Marie And Riley will be premiered on CBS and Paramount+ on Tuesday, October 8 at night, at 8 p. m.
