What is Grubbs’ contribution to the table?
A fresh signal maker with a very wild delivery motion and a very good physical build. Has an opportunity of leaving high school as a four-year starter, if is able to get a starting position right from the Freshman year in one of the largest classifications of Florida. Cleaner mechanics help him to get the ball to all the possible tiers of the field. Has more of a throw it up style now but has the ability to bring more heat and test the coverage when called upon. He has been proved to be a fairly mobile player within the sanctuary of the end zone and some of his best work has been done off a play action.
Sized up opponents as a sophomore and scored big against weak teams, but lost balls and the team made many silly mistakes while facing stiff challenge. Should be considered an athletic pocket passer with a lot of upside who has the physical tools to win at the Power Four level if he can continue to develop as a passer. "
