This time, Amazon MGM Studios plans to take a fresh series project with Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos.
My Darlings is a thriller in development at Amazon that Ripa and Consuelos are also executive producers of. Their Milojo Productions acquired the big screen and television rights to a novel with the same title, authored by Marie Still, and scheduled for release Today from Rising Action Publishing Distributed worldwide by Simon & Schuster. My Darlings is said to be ‘a satirical thriller that revolves on the life of Eloise Williams – a high ranking interior designer, a dutiful wife and mother, and the queen bee among all the active social networkers back in Wales, and a notorious serial killer at that.’ When a man begins to blackmail her over her evil deeds that she used to do in the past and wanted to expose her, then, murder is not merely desire, but it is necessary.
“What a fabulous cast could one ask for in creating such a heinous character as Eloise, the serial killing mom, and presenting her story,” Still noted. “I am excited to be joining forces with Leo Richardson, Justin W. Lo, Kelly Ripa, Mark Consuelos and the entire Milojo team and James Griffiths and everyone at Fee Fi Fo Films whose creativity I believe will be right up the alley of an audience and this series shall be utterly binge worthy.”
My Darlings will be added to a development list at Amazon that also includes thrillers such as The Orpheus Project series, RoboCop series adaptation as well as the just greenlit Reacher spinoff with Maria Sten and Scarpetta, an adaptation of the novels by Patricia Cornwell.
