MPTF’s Evening Before Emmys Fundraiser Raises $2.5M With Jon Hamm, Brie Larson and Ayo Edebiri

The fundraiser,. .which was held the night before the Emmy Awards, saw Jon Hamm, Brie Larson, Jamie Lee Curtis, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Ayo Edebiri, Matt Bomer, Naomi Watts, Billy Crudup and Brett Goldstein. 
 
Televisions‘ most talented assembled and millions were raised at MPTF‘s 18th annual Evening Before event. 
 
Some of the event photos tell it all about the starry event held at the Century Park, Los Angeles on saturday night fetched $2. 5 million for Motion Picture and Television Fund while feeding those in need on the Wasserman Campus in Woodland Hills with programs and services and at the same time, meet some of the Emmy nominees, winners, and famous celebrities the night before the television’s most prestigious event. Studio Komorebi designed Century Park as a ‘’relaxed town square’’, that is equipped with carnival games, and food stations, which menu was prepared by L. A. food stars Jon Shook and Vinny Dotolo from the Carmelized Prods.

“In an industry that is trying its best to find its footing, that second Evening Before in 2024 lacked nothing,” quipped MPTF CEO Bob Beitcher, in reference to the second year of Emmys weekend in January that was postponed by Guild strikes. “The unity demonstrated by the industry and the support shown was fantastic and the Evening Before was another fantastic night for our entertainment community and MPTF is having a success.

Delta Air Lines, Penske Media Corporation (THis publishing company of The Hollywood Reporter), People, and UCLA Health were the presenting sponsors while the other partners were Apple TV+, Netflix, and Warner Bros. Discovery.
