Megan Thee Stallion Reveals Struggles After Mom’s Death in Documentary Trailer “I Forgot Who I Was”

The rapper is featured in the ‘In Her Words’ film available on Amazon Prime Video on 31st October.

The trailer recaps Megan Thee Stallion’s career beginnings and her fight after her mom’s death to be in In Her Words, which will be available on Amazon Prime Video on October 31st.

The trailer begins to show footage of Megan prancing about while she states and looks into the camera: “So today I am going to cancel all my shows”.

‘Am I having fun now? No I am not, and I don’t wanna’. “And I feel like how could I be Megan Thee Stallion, and I’m not having fun.”

The trailer is then succeeded by a live-action quick view of Megan’s childhood with an animated clip that depicts her relationship she had with her mother.

“I wouldn’t be here without my mom” she told me. Obviously, when she opened her mouth, it was something more along the lines of a gangsta rapper. Boy said ‘I was like, ‘When I get older I really want to be like her.’

After her mother passed away in 2019, Megan was “completely lost,” states the rapper behind “Savage.”

I believe I sometimes lost myself. And when life began to get out of control ? I did not have her, she says.

Megan reveals that after the death of her mother, she got lost and felt backlash, got shot by Tory Lanez and felt betrayal.

“I had really had like a real breakdown,” she’s depicted hugging someone, and crying.

She says Megan Thee Stallion is doing this so as not to reveal her real self, which is Megan Pete, and reveals that she wants persons to know how she feels.

“I want people to realise how this is impacting me,” the footage of her crying adorns her statement. “Often, I desire to show them how I focus, or how I care or feel about something.”

The last scene of the trailer is extremely positive: fans tell outright that they adore her, and Megan smiles as she states, “I’ve been going through shit , but I’ve been getting through shit.”
