Kendrick Lamar to Headline 2025 Apple Music Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show

To be held on Feb 9 2025 the big game will be at the New Orleans’ Caesars Superdome. Still, this is not Lamar’s first time on the halftime show; he rapped in the 2022 show with Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige and 50 Cent. 
 
The post further reports that, Super Bowl LIX halftime show will feature Kendrick Lamar who is set to perform in 2025 under the Apple Music banner. 
 
Roc Nation, the NFL and Apple Music announced the news on Sunday The big game will, therefore, occur on Feb. 9th, 2025 at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans. That one will be aired on Fox. 
 
Lamar had done the hip hop oriented prior 2022 superbowl halftime show with Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige and 50 cent. All the performers including the executive producers; Jay-Z, Jesse Collins bagged the excellent live variety special Emmy for the performance. Consultation and creative direction for future live performance of Lamar will be done by pgLang, the company owned by Lamar and his close friend/collaborator Dave Free, filmmaker and producer who directed or co-directed many music videos of Lamar. 
 
“Rap music is still the most impacting genre to date,” Lamar, 37, said in the statement. “And I’ll be there to remind the world why. They got the right one. ” 
 
Roc Nation company by Jay-Z will be once again hosting the halftime show for the sixth consecutive year. It was his second Emmy win as he co-directed Rihanna’s performance at the 2023 halftime show with Hamish Hamilton and the rapper-mogul has joined the tandem of black directors that have won in the outstanding directing for a variety special class. This year’s halftime show which included an R&B superstar, Usher, was nominated for three Emmys and was witnessed by more than 115 Million people making it the most-watched halftime show ever.

The telecast of the Apple Music Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show will be by DPS alongside with Roc Nation and Jesse Collins as the executive producers while Hamish Hamilton as the director. Roc Nation will also be acting as the strategic entertainment consultant of the live performance.
