Iconic band announce they are splitting up with UK tour and Manchester farewell shows

Iconic band has declared that they will be disbanding – with the final set of concerts including a UK tour.

Forming part of the British indie and the alt-rock band category for the last eight years, and three albums since 2017, special indie band Sundara Karma has bowed out gracefully from the roster.

In the statement the group noted that the current decision has been one of the hardest to make given that they still plan to give their fans a memorable performance through four performances in the United Kingdom in December will kick off in Glasgow.

With support from overpass, the Sundara Karma will be playing at the O2 Ritz in Manchester on December 4. They will also perform at gigs in Liverpool and London. Tickets for the shows will be available at 10 a.m. this Friday (September 27) at Ticketmaster.

In a statement, the band, who last year released third album Better Luck Next Time, said: This has been one of the hardest things we’ve ever had to do and after giving all of ourselves for the last eight years to bring you the music that changed our lives we have made the decision to bring the most important chapter of our lives so far to a close. We’ve been a band for over twelve years and we’ve seen things that are beyond our imagination. I have cupped this journey and I must tell you it has been amazing!

That’s why many people now are just preparing to get married, though having grown and having our hopes and dreams, we already are weary to jump and begin something new. So it’s not a goodbye to music but just a goodbye in terms of us creating music under Sundara Karma.

But as we cross over into this news phase of our lives, there is one thing that will not change – our friendship. We will always remain friends, and the best at that. We have shared the dream and formed a band many, many years ago as kids in school and the friendship what we developed over these years, I think, is what is greatly valuable to us along with the desire to create more music together.

“To every fan who attended our concerts, listened in appreciation our songs, or in any from of assistance, thank you.” Thank you for support, passion, and great contribution which you have demonstrated with us from the beginning until now. You would think that saying this makes us sound cliché but each word of it couldn’t be truer – we wouldn’t have been able to do this without you. Thank you so much, you just made this experience unforgettable”

Members of the band on the official mailing list shall be allowed access to a special Artist Pre-Sale from Thursady at 10am (September 26) and general ticket sale from Friday at 10am.
