Heidi Klum Says She Never Wants to “Let Any of My Halloween Fans Down” With Her Costume Choices
Heidi Klum just revealed the selection of her Halloween costumes in detail and says that she lays her focus on her fans and how she will select her costume for the year, whether it is a character or an individual.
With the scariest night of the year being a few weeks away, the supermodel discussed her costume choice with People.
“I actually have many creatives that are fans from across the world, some makeup artists, hair stylists, fashion designers or other people who are not in entertainment but they appreciate art and Halloween,” she said to the publication.
Klum also said, “I don’t want to ever let any of my Halloween fans down. I always really try and come up with something new and fresh and something that either amazes people or people will never expect it.
The following year she dressed up as a peacock, an outfit she revealed in a interview with The Hollywood Reporter took her 6 hours to get into. She said, at the time, that the idea of the character was to get a costume that is a lot of people, and when they are all bunched up in a position they are one.
Speaking to People separately, the America’s Got Talent judge said that she had been preparing for this year’s costume for several months because molds and prosthetics for her outfit had to be prepared, as well as fittings.
“It takes a lot because I wanted to be this spectacular and this is not something I can just do at a whim,” she added. “It takes a long time. It takes a lot of planning. And also then when I do the reveal; I want to have a special reveal because I know I have so many fans and those particular Halloween fans are coming up with amazing things and people who love dressing up as well.
Klum has gone through different outfits representing a rainworm, Jessica Rabbit, Betty Boop, herself, an ape and many others.
