Eva Mendes Reveals If She Would Return to Acting: “Who Knows?”

She left the cameras for the time being to look after her two children which she has for Ryan Gosling her husband. 
 
It has been 10 years since we saw Eva Mendes on the movie screen but she did not rule out a come back to acting yet. 
 
The actress was recently in Good Morning America to discuss her new children’s book Desi Mami and the Never ending worries regarding when she would return to Hollywood. 
 
“I don’t know. If there’s interesting roles. I left at a time where, 10 years ago, I kind of felt like I did it, ya know, I just worked with Ryan Gosling. He’s like the best,” she said smiling. “It was such a high off my career to work with him and what we created together that I was like, this is a good time to Seinfeld it and just walk out So, who knows?” 
 
He also featured in dozens of productions including 2 Fast 2 Furious, The Other Guys before getting an acting role alongside her husband Gosling in The Place Beyond the Pines in 2012. In other to quit the acting profession temporarily she stepped down for sometime to concentrate in raising two daughters; Esmeralda Amada nine year-old and Amada Lee seven year-old as well as pursuing other challenges. 
 
“It was like a no-brainer,” she said to Today Show back in March. “I thought, oh, I am so lucky, and I was like, if I could just have this time with my children — and I still work, I just didn’t act on it because acting means going to location, it means that you go away for a long time, so it was sort of that unspoken decision that okay, he is going to work and I am going to stay here. 
 
Although the couple has been lowkey with the public about their love life, they have never ceased to display their support for each other; for example, this Instagram post by Mendes came in handy after Gosling’s impressive “I’m Just Ken” sizzle at the Oscars this year.
